CBS College Sports Network, the official cable network of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, provides the most comprehensive coverage of the Men’s Final Four semi-final and championship games in complement to CBS Sports’ exclusive live game broadcasts, as it extends coverage to Indianapolis bringing fans all the action, excitement and sights from around the city.

CBS College Sports Network tips-off coverage in Indianapolis with the 2010 NCAA MEN’S FINAL FOUR SALUTE PRESENTATION, live from The Hilbert Circle Theatre. CBS Sports’ lead play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz hosts, as the NCAA honors the coaches and players participating in the Final Four and looks back at their road to Indianapolis.

CBS College Sports Network broadcasts FINAL FOUR PRACTICE PRESENTED BY ENTERPRISE on Friday, April 2 (12:00 NOON-4:30 PM, ET) live from Lucas Oil Stadium during Final Four Friday team practices. The program brings viewers the latest news and press conferences for all four teams. Adam Zucker anchors the coverage along with CBS Sports analysts Greg Anthony, Seth Davis, Wally Szczerbiak, Steve Lappas and guest coaches and analysts. Tracy Wolfson serves as reporter.

In addition, CBS College Sports Network broadcasts the official highlight show of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, NCAA MARCH MADNESS HIGHLIGHTS PRESENTED BY COKE ZERO, airing immediately following the conclusion of Final Four semi-final games and the National Championship on CBS Sports. The program features a recap of the action with scores, news, highlights and analysis. Zucker hosts along with Anthony, Davis, Szczerbiak and Lappas.

Also on Friday (4:30-7:00 PM, ET) CBS College Sports Network broadcasts the 2010 REESE’S COLLEGE ALL-STAR GAME, live from Lucas Oil Stadium. Dave Ryan and Pete Gillen handle the call with Wolfson reporting.

The countdown to tip-off officially begins with the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PRE-GAME SHOW PRESENTED BY STATE FARM live from Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday, April 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET). CBS Sports’ Greg Gumbel hosts, along with Anthony and Davis breaking down the game.

CBS College Sports Network’s coverage of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship continues with regional action on Thursday, March 25 through Sunday, March 28.  The Network features some of the nation’s top college coaches in-studio serving as analysts, including Marquette’s Buzz Williams (3/25, 3/27-3/28), Pittsburgh’s Jamie Dixon (3/26-3/28), Virginia Tech’s Seth Greenberg (3/25), Auburn's Tony Barbee (3/26-3/28), BYU’s Dave Rose (3/26-3/27) and former St. Johns coach Norm Roberts (3/25).  
 
Coverage begins on Thursday, March 25 (4:00-6:00 PM, ET) with NCAA MARCH MADNESS PRE-GAME SHOW PRESENTED BY STATE FARM.  Immediately following the conclusion of each day’s games, CBS College Sports Network airs the official highlight show of the tournament, NCAA March Madness Highlights Presented by Coke Zero, which recaps the excitement of the day with all the scores, news, highlights and analysis.  CBS College Sports Network will air two out-of-market games of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship in their entirety. The broadcasts will be fully produced by CBS Sports with CBS announcers and graphics. The games will air in the areas of natural interest of the competing teams on CBS stations, in addition to CBS College Sports Network.

 
CBS College Sports Network will air the first-round match-ups between UTEP and Butler in the West region on Thursday, March 18 (4:45 PM, ET) from San Jose, Calif. and Utah State versus Texas A&M in the South region on Friday, March 19 (4:45 PM, ET) from Spokane, Wash.
 
Spero Dedes and Bob Wenzel call the game from San Jose, while Tim Brando and Mike Gminski will be on-hand in Spokane to call the action.

CBS College Sports Network to Air Two Live First-Round Out-of-Market Games of
 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship
 

CBS College Sports Network, the official cable home of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, complements CBS Sports’ exclusive live network game broadcasts by providing over 80 hours of coverage of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. For the fourth consecutive year, CBS College Sports Network presents all the action and excitement surrounding the tournament, including the official highlight show of the tournament, NCAA March Madness Highlights PRESENTED by COKE ZERO.
 
Immediately following the conclusion of each day’s games on CBS Sports, NCAA March Madness Highlights PRESENTED by COKE ZERO, will recap the madness of the day with all the scores, news, highlights and analysis, beginning on Thursday, March 18 (12:00 – 1:00 AM).

In addition, NCAA MARCH MADNESS CENTRAL ENGINEERED BY GMC SIERRA brings fans exclusive in-progress game highlights, live look-ins and press conferences from every team at every site from the first-round through the Championship Game. Coverage tips off from CBS College Sports Network’s studio in New York City on Wednesday, March 17 (4:00-7:00 PM, ET).
 
For the fourth consecutive year, CBS College Sports Network will air two first-round out-of-market games of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship in their entirety. The broadcasts will be fully produced by CBS Sports with its announcers and graphics, and air on CBS stations in the assigned regions.  All other markets will view the game on CBS College Sports Network.  The broadcasts will air as part of NCAA MARCH MADNESS CENTRAL ENGINEERED BY GMC SIERRA on Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 (specific times and games TBD).
 
The Network’s coverage is anchored by Adam Zucker, Tom Hart and CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson with Wally Szczerbiak and Steve Lappas providing in-depth analysis each day. Programming will also feature analysis from CBS Sports’ Greg Anthony and Seth Davis, as well as reports from CBS Sports announcers from every remote tournament site.
 
                                                                          
CBS College Sports Network’s comprehensive coverage extends to Indianapolis for the 2010 Men’s Final Four, bringing fans all the sights and sounds from around the city.  CBS College Sports Network’s on-site programming begins with the NCAA FINAL FOUR SALUTE hosted by CBS Sports’ Jim Nantz on Thursday, April 1 (6:00 – 7:00 PM, ET). On Friday, April 2 (12:00 NOON-4:30 PM, ET) NCAA MARCH MADNESS CENTRAL PRESENTED BY ENTERPRISE is live from Lucas Oil Stadium for each team’s practice session, followed by coverage of the 2010 REESE’S College All-StaR Game (4:30-7:00 PM, ET). Fans Gain Additional Access to Most In-Depth Coverage of College Sports


CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK announced today that the Network is now part of Cablevision’s iO TV digital cable service, appearing on channel 143 in standard definition and channel 793 in high definition, providing fans with the broadest and deepest coverage of college sports.  

With the additional Cablevision subscribers, CBS College Sports Network is now seen in approximately 38 million and is available to more than 89 million households across the country.  In the last 12 months, the Network has experienced a +38% distribution increase, representing 10.4 million additional subscribers.

Former Duke Lacrosse Player Matt Danowski Joins Network as Lead Analyst


CBS College Sports Network’s crease-to-crease lacrosse coverage kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 25 (7:00 PM, ET) as *No. 4-ranked North Carolina takes on *No. 16-ranked Navy.  

Former Duke lacrosse player Matt Danowski joins CBS College Sports Network as game analyst and teams with veteran play-by-play announcer Dave Ryan to call the action this season.  Danowski is the all-time NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse leader in points, and was a four-time All-American at Duke.  In 2007 he helped lead the Blue Devils to a 17-3 record and the National Championship game, and was the recipient of the Tewaaraton Trophy as the nation’s top men’s lacrosse player.  Danowski was drafted in 2008 by the New Jersey Pride of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) as the second overall pick, and currently plays for the Long Island Lizards. He also plays indoor lacrosse for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League.
 
In addition to regular season men’s and women’s action, CBS College Sports Network will broadcast multiple NCAA Championships, including the Division II and Division III men’s and women’s championships and the Division I women’s championship.
