Former Duke Lacrosse Player Matt Danowski Joins Network as Lead Analyst
CBS College Sports Network’s crease-to-crease lacrosse coverage kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 25 (7:00 PM, ET) as *No. 4-ranked North Carolina takes on *No. 16-ranked Navy.
Former Duke lacrosse player Matt Danowski joins CBS College Sports Network as game analyst and teams with veteran play-by-play announcer Dave Ryan to call the action this season. Danowski is the all-time NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse leader in points, and was a four-time All-American at Duke. In 2007 he helped lead the Blue Devils to a 17-3 record and the National Championship game, and was the recipient of the Tewaaraton Trophy as the nation’s top men’s lacrosse player. Danowski was drafted in 2008 by the New Jersey Pride of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) as the second overall pick, and currently plays for the Long Island Lizards. He also plays indoor lacrosse for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League.
In addition to regular season men’s and women’s action, CBS College Sports Network will broadcast multiple NCAA Championships, including the Division II and Division III men’s and women’s championships and the Division I women’s championship.
